May the family find comfort in fond memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) With deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry for your loss of Roger. I only knew Roger from Havasu Fitness (gym) but he touched my life. He was always such a happy person. Every day I turned into the parking lot of the gym I would smile because I would always see Rogers car with his bicycle on the back. He was always such a fun person to talk with. He always talked about his boat he had, his cars, and he would always ask me what running event I would be doing next or when are you going to Glamis, etc. The last time I had the pleasure of talking to Roger he told me he had not been feeling well and he was going to go see a specialist and every day I turned into the gym's parking lot and I did not see his car I worried. I wish I would have had contact outside of the gym with him to see how he was doing. I know he was helping his son with the accident he had been in so I kept thinking maybe he was not at the gym because of that and it has been about three weeks since I saw Roger then today I opened the paper and I just cried :( He was like a dad to me. The gym will NOT be the same without him :(.... Rest in peace Roger, you will be GREATLY missed by me and many many others. I am sorry I will not make it to his service tomorrow but my heart will definately be with you and your family. RIP!!!

Although we did not know Roger personally, I felt we were friends through Celeste. He was obviously a very special person; always reaching out to his family or friends in need with a smile ... asking nothing in return. Through his deep and abiding faith, we know he is in Heaven. Roger, may you rest in peace, free of pain, knowing the lives and hearts you touched...directly, as well as indirectly. Dianne & Jack, Vero Beach, FL
