Obituary of Nickolas M. Ortiz

Nickolas Ortiz, age 91, a resident of Bullhead City, Arizona for more than 30 years, passed away March 04, 2021 at Prestige Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born December 06, 1929, in Indiana to Sebastian and Innocencia Ortiz. The family moved to California and Nick joined the Army in 1946 and served overseas in combat. He married Adela Ortiz on January 12, 1964 in Mexico. He re-married his wife on January 10, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in San Pedro for 26 years before moving to Bullhead City, Arizona in 1990. Nick and his wife’s love is eternal. Nick enjoyed traveling, painting, playing music and staying physically fit. Nick retired after many years from the Ball Canning company in Califorina. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Albert, John, Victoria, Pearl, Anthony, and Mary. He is survived by many nieces and nephews; on both his and his wife Adela’s side of the family. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
