Obituary of Jean Berard

Jean (Johnson) Berard passed away on October 28, 2012 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. She was 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Berard. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1982 from Pennsylvania. Jean leaves behind a daughter, Kathleen Weber of Lake Havasu City; a son, Warren Lynn Johnson of Coventry, Rhode Island; a step-son, Jim Johnson of New Braunfels, Texas; a step-daughter Christine Cuneo of Belfair, Washington; 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and a multitude of dear friends. Prior to illness Jean had been a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, Elks, Eagles, Desert Hills Fire Dept. Auxiliary, Bunco group, and Women's bowling league. She ran the concession stand at Sara Park for several years. She, and her late husband, were Hospice volunteers. For fun, Jean loved bingo and casino trips. Jean was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother who loved her family. She was a kind and special friend to many. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jean's name to the Havasu Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.
