Obituary of Alan Everett Jedrey

Alan Everett Jedrey passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 87 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Medford, Massachusetts on February 28, 1933 to Clifford and Gertrude Jedrey. Alan served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was blessed with 65 years of love and laughter with his high school sweetheart, Catherine, known as "Kay", whom he married on May 7, 1955 in Malden Massachusetts. Alan liked fishing and dancing, loved hockey, and enjoyed decorating the Elk's Lodge. He treasured his time spent with family. He relocated from Melrose, Massachusetts to Lake Havasu City in 1976. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He attended Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife; Kay Jedrey, son: Dana (Robin) Jedrey, daughters; Linda Cunningham and Gail (Blair) Harrington, sister; Mary Ann Donovan, grandchildren; Dana (Kaitlyn) Cunningham, and Wayne Jedrey, and great-grandchildren; Landon and Addison Cunningham. Alan is preceded in death by his parents; Clifford and Gertrude Jedrey; son Wayne Everett Jedrey and brothers Donald and Stanley (Butchie) Jedrey. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge #2399, 3532 McCulloch Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona on February 28, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a light lunch will be provided.
