CAROLYN KAY BURT Carolyn Kay Burt passed away on October 31, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 69. Carolyn was born on July 25, 1943 in Salt Lake City, UT to Russell Dean Burt and Kathleen (Anderson). Carolyn attended the University of California, Berkeley Class of 1969, formerly in the Domestic Peace Corps (Vista) and loved taking computer classes at the Lake Havasu Library. She worked as a Non-Profit Grant Writer/Marketer. She helped start a heroin rehabilitation program for women in the Los Angeles barrio and one of the founding authors of the "Head Start" program. She was a proud Democrat and Scot. Her stamp on the Civil Rights and Equal Rights Movements and our hearts is one that shall be cherished and not forgotten by so many that she touched and inspired. Carolyn is survived by her daughter Regen Crockett Heller of Encino, CA; brothers David Russell Burt of Payson, UT and Cory Dean Burt of Tacoma, WA and her sister Robyn Susan Burt of Payson, UT. As well as 10 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
