Obituary of Mary Jane Giorgini

Mary Jane Giorgini, 99, passed away on December 25, 2020. She was born on February 9, 1921 in Ashton, Rhode Island. In 1954, she moved to Hollywood, California. Shortly after that she began her career at Litton Industry in Van Nuys. She then moved forward and started her lifelong job as a proud supervisor at the Republic Indemnity where she stayed until she retired. Mary Giorgini was the oldest of her five siblings born by Domenico Prete and Concetta Lanarell, whom were born in Italy. Mary had five sisters and one brother. Some of Mary’s hobbies included selling Avon and Mary Kay Cosmetics. She also loved going to lunch with her friends and family, and spending time with her seven great grandkids. Mary was married and divorced resulting in becoming a single mother, raising her only daughter Donna Brooks. Mary is still survived by her five grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Corey, Sean, and Austin. Mary was a beautiful, caring and funny soul that will be cherished in our hearts forever. Mary Giorgini’s service will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday the 9th, at 1:00 p.m. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
