Ann E. Schreyer
November 4, 1921 - November 1, 2012
Ann Schreyer was born Ann Esther Elise Kimball in Minneapolis, MN. to Walter and Alma Kimball. She grew up in the town of Perry, Michigan, where graduated from Perry High in 1939 and was voted "Spirit of Perry High School" a fit description for how she would approach the rest of her life. In 1950 she married Charles E. Schreyer, Jr. and moved to Scarsdale, NY, where she lived and raised her family until moving to Lake Havasu City in 1970. She was always pleased to tell you she was one of the "pioneers" in Havasu.
Ann was active in the Lake Havasu City community. She enjoyed golfing and was a past president of the London Bridge Women's Golf Club. For many years she was deeply committed to volunteer work at the Havasu Regional Hospital, including service as president of the Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, doted on the many pets she had over the years, was a devoted and true friend to many and put her family at the center of her life.
Ann is survived and dearly missed by her husband Charles, her brother Walter Kimball Jr. of Columbus Ohio, her daughters Sally Matteson of Calabasas, CA., Susan Schreyer of Monroe, WA., her two grandchildren Arianne and Ford and many more members of her extended family and wide circle of friends.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 6 at 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ann's name to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, www.bestfriends.org
