Obituary of Nancy Champagne Milby

Nancy Milby November 7, 1936 – December 10, 2020 Nancy Champagne Milby, 84, passed away December 10, 2020 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Nancy was born November 7, 1936 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Edward and Edith Champagne. She graduated from Marion High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana and worked for Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator. In 1956 she married James Ray Broussard in Lake Charles, Louisiana with whom she had a daughter and son. In 1970 she married Frank Milby, in Childress, Texas. They had one son together and shared 44 years of marriage. Nancy was also blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nancy loved cooking, sewing and loving on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved God and her church. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lake Havasu, Arizona. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Frank Milby, her parents, Edward Champagne and Edith Burnette and her brother Ray Champagne. She is survived by her daughter Karla Desper, her sons, Edward Broussard and Boyd Milby, her step-son Virgil Milby, her six grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren.
