Obituary of Lucy May
Please share a memory of Lucy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart and a million tears already shed that we sadly announce that Lucy May, also known as Lulu, has passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 peacefully in the arms of her Mom and Dad Bob and Cheryl May.
Born on December 9, 2006 in San Luis Obispo, California, she was from a litter of 11 beautiful Labradoodles. Besides her parents, she is survived by her little brother, Mr. Wonderful, who is missing her tremendously. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evo, her boyfriend Milo (Chihuahua) and cousins Bodie and Ozzie, who welcomed her on the other side.
Lucy's favorite activities were swimming, boating, playing catch with whomever would indulge her, golf cart rides, feeding carrots to the rabbits every evening, chasing Mr. Wonderful and hanging out with her family. She loved sitting at "Lucy's Lookout" watching the rabbits and neighbors walking by. She lived a wonderful and happy, spoiled life.
More than anything, Lucy loved her mom and dad and was always waiting at the door to greet us with lots of barking and cussing because we left her at home. She was our constant companion and her absence is palpable. She was there with us through grief, joy, holidays, celebrations, and moves. She loved when we had visitors! She was good at a lot of things but she was best at loving us!
She will be forever missed and never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to give your own animals an extra treat and some extra love in Lucy's memory.
We would like to thank all of Lucy's friends who have already reached out with flowers, pictures, and wonderful memories shared about Lucy.
