Although I did not know Leon well, I feel I know him well enough to pass a small story along to his family. You see, Leon had a secret. Yard sales ( if anyone was asking ) and it seemed as though I lived close enough for him to come when I had one. ( Following my great signage ).
I assumed he was into electronics as well. Not the new fangled computers but, HI-FI, video recorders and players and the 12" Laser Disk players. We would chat for a while about his love for music and quality sound. He said he had a collection of Laser Disks and my machines was perfect.
He bought my Laser Disk player but, at the time, I could not find the operations manual. He said " Oh well I can manage without it " and off he went.
You know, the next 3 yard sales I had, he came back for a look and asked me about that manual !
I may have never found that manual Leon but I enjoyed our brief conversations and interactions.
You always had a smile and an old story to share and I'm glad I had time to share mine with you.
