Elizabeth (Bettie) Bodinet
54 Year Resident
Bettie Bodinet of Lake Havasu City was called to heaven on Thursday, October 22nd. She was 90 years young!! Her faith, humor, positivity, compassion, and love will truly be missed by all. The spiritual, moral, and ethical values she bestowed on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will live on with us for many generations to come.
Bettie was a proud loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always had a kind word, engaging smile, and generous outreach for anyone she might meet. In her quiet way she touched the lives of many Lake Havasu City residents. She was a 30-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Telephone Pioneers, HRMC Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society, and devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She retired from Lake Havasu School District where she was known as the “go to person” for all the children and staff.
Bettie is survived by:
• Sons Richard, Michael (wife Dawn), John (wife Cyndi), Andrew; and daughter Michele Rollins (husband Mark).
• Grandkids – Rachel (husband Chris) Miller, Ryan (wife Holly) Bodinet, Amanda Bodinet, Bret Bodinet, Stephanie (husband Nick) Mello, Dan (wife Claire) Rollins, Becky (husband Jake) Lauer, and Joey (wife Brittany) Bodinet.
• Great Grandkids – Devon, Fayth and Camden Bodinet, Gavin, Zoey and Declan Rollins, Wyatt and Logan Lauer, Bryce and Ivy Miller, Talia, Damian, and Nyssa Mello.
