Sue was a leader of the High Altitude Gardening Society here in Colorado. She was instrumental in starting and maintaining the gardens at the Pine Post Office which so many in our community appreaciate. Always a good friend and hard worker, Sue will be greatly missed.

We have so many great memories of Sue! We first met Mike and Sue in 1979 in Wheatland WY, and then a few years later in the Denver CO area where we all landed for awhile. By chance, we all ended up back on the East Coast and were able to stay in touch and see each other a few times as we moved on through our lives. I’m sure Mike and Sue thought they had seen the last of us when they moved back to CO and built their home in Bailey, but not a chance! We managed to track them down there and visit whenever we were in the Denver area, and then most recently in Lake Havasu. We will remember so many things about Sue but mostly her exceptional kindness and her strong will and determination, and always with a smile on her face, and a twinkle in her eye. She will never be forgotten. With sadness, we say goodby to Sue for now but we will ALWAYS hold her in a special place in our hearts, as well as all the loves in her life...Mike, Jamie, Shannon and Glen.
