Karen Sue Pappilli February 28, 1945 - September 3, 2020 On Thursday, September 3rd, 2020 in Lake Havasu, Arizona, Karen Sue Wiggins-Pappilli went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Karen was born on February 28th, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald Francis Wiggins and Faye Leona Sage-Wiggins; brother, Bruce Murray Wiggins; sisters Cynthia Jo Wiggins-Wheeler, Diana Kay Wiggins-Durment; and son Donald Francis Haltom. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Lee Roy Pappilli (Butch); her son, John O. Haltom; daughter, Tammy May Tramel-Moulton; and her husband Tim Moulton, and her son, Lee Roy Pappilli. She is also survived by her brother Donald Earl Wiggins; sisters, Linda Ann Wiggins-Hawley, Sheila Rose Wiggins-McRoy, and Deborah Jean Wiggins; grandchildren Karen Faye Haltom, Debbie Faye Haltom, Diana Kay Perrett, Ashlie Laurel Lee Perrett-McEuen and her husband Ryan McEuen, Burce Perret, Linda Rhonda Rose Moulton, Lee Roy Pappilli III, Anthony James Pappilli, Sheila Skye Pappilli; great-granddaughters Malia Makenna McEuen, and Hayli Sutton McEuen. Karen grew up in Greenfield, Indiana and moved to Ca in 1965. She and Butch were married in CA in 1972 and relocated to Lake Havasu in 1983. Karen’s family has always been the center of her universe…she is a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and a deeply loyal friend…she was well known for her ‘compassion and loyalty.’ Karen worked as a waitress from the age of 13 until she retired in 1994. She was an amazing cook and a ‘clean-freak’ (you could literally eat off of her floors)…her favorite hobby was cake decorating (she made and sold some very beautiful cakes). She loved butterflies, babies and old movies. ‘Gone with the Wind’ was her favorite movie, lavender was her favorite color, and she loved the scent of lilacs. To say that laughter was an intricate part of Karen’s personality would be an understatement…her sense of humor cannot be matched! Anyone who knew Karen will tell you that she had an absolute Heart of Gold and would do anything in the world for you. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. Search Your Heart…She is There! *Due to Covid, a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Missing You “He will swallow up death in victory: and the Lord will wipe away tears from all faces.” Isaiah 25:8 We’ve come to sit beside you, We won’t cry, we’ll smile… We hope that you don’t mind If we sit with you awhile. We know you’re resting now, So we won’t stay too long… But we need to spend some time with you, And we promise we’ll be strong. The sun still shines above us, Somehow it’s not as bright… The moon’s a little dimmer, But it still comes out at night. You’ve left behind sweet memories, And until we meet again… We’ll treasure you within our HEARTS Where we’ll visit now and then. WE Love You!
