Such found memories of the Backers while growing up. My family and the Backers were like one big family that had one huge thing in common. We love Ted and Maxine (my grandparents) and we were all taught to love the Lord. Wanda was a wonderful lady and while I have not seen Wanda in many years, my memories of her are still so bright and vivid. I’m so happy and jealous of her because I know that she is with our Lord, and probably having some great Mexican food with my Grandparents!

Wanda is loved and will be missed by many, including me. I will always remember her as a loving and caring sister-in-law to me and daughter-in-law to my (and Ferrell's) mom. She was such a beautiful woman and had such a great laugh. Ferrell definitely found his other half when he found Wanda in that restaurant and she found her's when that slick talking Texan found out she had a boy friend and told her to dump him. What a perfect union started at that moment. Love you Wanda and thanks for bringing so much love and joy to my brother.
