Ernestine “Ernie” Ohmsatte, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on March 30, 2020. She was born on April 10, 1942 to her parents, James and Rosita Chaves. She was 77 years of age.
Ernestine was married on April 27, 1982 to Garrett Ohmsatte, in Cubero, New Mexico. Ernestine enjoyed many things in life. She loved to shop at thrift stores and dollar stores, walking everywhere and exploring the outdoors, designing crafts, watching movies, and just hanging out with family and friends. She loved Elvis Presley! He was her favorite and she also impersonated him very well. She also enjoyed Latin music, dancing, and singing. Ernestine and her best friend Grace, would go on adventures together and simply “hanging out” as friends do. Grace would always keep her company. Ernestine had a smile that could brighten up a room, and if you were having a bad day, she sure did know how to cheer you up! Ernestine also loved the Lord and read her bible daily and always loved going to church.
Ernestine loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and always talked about them. She was the type of person to give you her last dollar, clothes off her back, or last bottle of water. She was always so helpful and very hopeful. She loved meeting new people and becoming friends with them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Ohmsatte; parents, James and Rosita Davis; children, Garrett Ohmsatte Jr., Tina Bailey (Ohmsatte), and Priscilla Rodriguez (Ohmsatte); grandchildren, Candice and Hunter Moses.

Mom,
We all loved you so dearly, but it was time Jesus called you home. This is not a goodbye, because we will all see you later. Save us some room up in Heaven with you. Rest peacefully mom!
