Karla was a plethora of things. But most importantly she was my savior. I was pregnant at 14 with her eldest son's child, and without getting into too much detail... she made it possible for me to bring the most incredible human into existence. We had our ups and downs.. but no matter what we loved one another, or at least I hope she felt the same. She was a caregiver a mother and grandmother and a woman that would accept the troubled youth into her home, and heart. And I hope that she knows, wherever her soul lies, how deeply she was loved and appreciated,l.
