Oh, my, I am so very sorry to see this. I first met Sunnie in 1975, he was a Fire Captain with CDF when my husband Bruce Pickens (1951-2019) was an Engineer. He was Best Man at our wedding.

I lived in the ward when Sunnie was Bishop. I saw the love he had for others and for me and my wife Kay. Kay was in the late stages of Alzheimer's . We always felt understood, accepted and nurtured. He truly understood ministering and serving with unconditional acceptance. He will be missed but not forgotten.
