Even though he was my amazing father-in-law, I always addressed Jerry as Gerald. This may have come across as very formal, but I always wanted to show him the respect and gratitude he deserved for allowing me to marry his amazing and beautiful daughter. His young grandchildren already miss the wonderful man they were just getting to know. We will all miss him very much.

You only have to read Jerry’s obituary to know what a wonderful man he was. I have known Sharon since grade school and when she and Jerry married, and we soon met him at a class reunion, I was so happy for her. I knew she found a special person. As the years passed, I was even more sure. So sorry for your loss Sharon. Also for his whole family that lost this special man.

Dear Sharon, Ashleigh and the France Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of Jerry. He was my friend and my mentor, or as Ham's say my Elmer. Jerry was a great friend to so many people. He was a cards on the table kind of guy, and I liked that about him. I will miss him and our long talks, greatly. K7LY was well known around the Ham circles. Here again he will be missed. Don't forget that his pal Cooper will be looking for him and he will miss his Dad... So give him a little slack too.
It is not often that you make a friend who has your back, Jerry was such a friend.
Sincerely,
Tom Hutter, K7TJH

Dear Sharon ,
We can not find the right words to express how sad we are for you and your families loss of Jerry. Just know we are keeping Jerry, you and your family in our prayers. At times like these it is always hard to find the right words to say. We always enjoyed seeing Jerry at his sister Diane's special dinners, those were good times. Thanks for the great memories Jerry you will be missed, but never forgotten.
With sadness,
Laura and Bill Masche
