Carol and Linda, I was so saddened to hear of Suzie's passing. Even though it's been quite some time since I've seen her she was a very special friend to me. I remember growing up as neighbors on Division and we would play until the street lights came on. I remember ping pong in the basement, she could slaughter me playing left handed. She taught me to ski on Duck Lake. So much fun. And then there were the years in Kalamazoo sharing apartments. I always had so much fun with Suzie and I treasure her friendship dearly.

Linda and Carol (and Mabel), I am saddened to learn of Suzie's passing and cannot imagine the grief you are experiencing. You have my utmost condolences on your loss. Suzie was a wonderful gal and a joy to be around. Two things I remember, both involving Suzie and my dad: First is the battle of will between the two of them when Suzie had my dad regrip her clubs, because she wanted to pay full price and he didn't want to take a penny, so they settled on the cost of the grips, with my dad threatening that if she paid him a penny extra, he would never do her clubs again. Second, he was amazed by Suzie's ability to find information on her smart phone. He would tell me how nobody could remember the name of an actor from a movie or the name of a song, or something of that nature, "and Suzie picked up her phone and did something and she had the answer. . . How did she DO that??"

Suzie and I worked together for 10 years at ARCO. We worked hard and played harder! We had fun no matter what we were doing, laughing till tears fell and our sides splitting. She was a good friend and loyal to a fault. That’s how I will remember her.

Susie, as I always knew her as, was a childhood playmate in Whitehall. My heart goes out to her family and friends. It sound like she had an amazing and interesting life. That's a wonderful thing.
