I worked with James at Wal-Mart TLE in for few years. He was always so happy and smiling. I remember the day he told me about his son Ethan. He was a proud daddy from the beginning and he loved him and his wife dearly. He will be missed. To Kathy and Ethan, you both are in my prayers. There are no words that I can say that will take any of the pain away. And I'm truly sorry. But remember that James loved you both very much and he will always be watching over you. God bless you both and also his family in this time of grief.

My dearest friend. From the second Kathy spoke to me, you treated me like family. It didn't matter where I was from or what decisions I made, James and Kathy supported and respected me like I had always been family. That was James. He gravitated toward people for who they were and he raised his family up high. True friends were as loved as family. James and Kathy are the people who always made sure I got home okay at night and after a few days they called me to make sure I wasn't too wrapped up in my work. The world needs more people like them and I am truly blessed that James Ford ever called me friend.

James was one of the purest people I have ever met. He lit up the room. It was impossible to be in a bad mood when you were in the same room as him because he always let off positive energy and had a big smile on his face! I can remember how he described his wife to me when we first met and the love and light in his eyes when he told me how beautiful she is. He loved his family so much! He is going to be missed dearly by everyone but he will not be forgotten. God bless his family.
