I am deeply saddened by her passing. She was a wonderful loving woman/friend I knew from the church. She was always so kind and helpful to me during my time with the soup kitchen, and children’s plays. She loved to joke around. I can remember the day I helped her set up Facebook and we tried so hard to get her photo successfully uploaded. Months later she changed it and she would make me laugh as she struggled to get the picture properly centered. She eventually just said “ah well it looks like I’m looking over a fence “ I loved her very much. I am very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace

Leila and i became acquainted through a group of guy's high school friends who continued to meet 3 times a year after 40 plus years of graduating. She was a lovely lady, a good friend, and a marvelous cook. My sympathy to leila's friends and family. She will be missed.

Aunt liela was my moms older sister. As a child I used to spend my summers with her n uncle joe in Dixon IL and uncle joe used to make homemade ravioli in the basement as I grew older and my mom Carol Fritz Schafroth passed I grew to love my daily chats with aunt liela am really gonna miss my friend. God bless n know you are in a better place.. your niece Linda Schafroth Larrigan
