Condolences to Shirley's 8 children from the 8 children of Leonard and Luella Voit's family. I will miss dads debate with Shirley of who was older or younger every year, now maybe in Heaven they will have that joke to share. When I brought my parents (now Mom) down to Lake Havasu every year one of the first stops was to always see Shirley and see how she was doing. I would go every month after that when I came down to bring her something sweet to eat or to just visit. We will miss you Shirley, plan to have a drink at the VFW in your honor, Love Sandy Valdezate

I will always remember Shirley dancing with Phil at some wedding dance or another. I can see her out there sprinkling the shaker of "sawdust" to make the floor just the right amount of slippery for dancing. In his last years dad spoke about the time he spent with Phil and Shirley when dad got out of the army and farmed with Phil for a bit. It is because of their kindness to him that he met my mom at the Flowing Well at a dance. And, of course, both mom and dad enjoyed the AZ scene with Shirley. She will be missed by all who knew her.
