While attending NAU in Flagstaff Arizona in the 70's I loved eating at Ms. Zips on Rt. 66. Dee's family business. This is where I first met John. I was fortunate to hunt and work with John of and on over the next 10 years. Both John and Dee were one of the most giving couples that I've ever met and known. Their moving to Kingman from Flagstaff was felt as a great loss to me and many others at the time. John had a great sense of humor when you got to know him. John was a very wise and kind man. I'm sorry to hear of his passing of which I'm only finding out today. Over the years we've all lost touch with family and friends due to jobs and family obligations that have caused us to move and loose contact with friends. I'll always think and remember the great times I spend with him and Dee. R.I.P. John. Your now with God. Now you are missed and still loved by those who knew you, and are still here with us in memory. Miss you John. Barry Spooner
