Claudia Haeckel, who recently just moved back to LHC, sent me Beverly's beautifully written Obituary. The chosen picture says so much, she always had a radiant smile no matter how much pain she felt. She was a survivor, a caregiver to all who came into her life, a friend, a good listener, a cook who loved to feed others, and the "others" always looked forward to the feast set before them. When you moved out of town for a while we all kept wishing you back, and one day found Bev at Smith's we chased her until we got hold of her in utter amazement! Oh the joy of your return.
Beverly really changed my thinking and my life, here words were always kind and loving, a born teacher, a lover of strays, all kinds people and animals alike. eEveryone was welcomed as friend, I will never forget her and treasure her obituary. With much love to you, her family, Carolynne Harris
