Obituary of "Shadow" Anderson
“Shadow”, beloved family member of Kristi Anderson, passed away and crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on June 4, 2019.
Kristi Anderson’s mother was blessed with Shadow in 2011, and in 2015, Shadow moved in with Kristi and has been her furry best friend ever since. Shadow has been with Kristi throughout so much in her life, through all the good times, bad times, smiles, and tears. Kristi has so many amazing memories of her best friend but some of the fondest memories were when they drove around doing errands and going to drive-thru gas stations. They would always have a treat ready for her and, oh boy, would she get excited and literally smile. She also enjoyed going on trips to In-N-Out Burger for her doggie patties.
Shadow would love to wake Kristi up with lots of slobbery kisses to tell her that she needed to go outside to go potty. Kristi loved when she would come home and Shadow was so excited to see her, barking and waiting to give her lots of love. Play time was so much fun! It would involve playing fetch with her squeaky toys. Shadow would never bring them back so Kristi would have to chase her to get them so that she could throw them back to her, only for Shadow to do the same thing over and over again. Playing fetch was a never ending game for her. Shadow was such a good girl, never having any bad habits or making Kristi mad.
Shadow’s aunt Theresa had many fond memories as well. One of those memories include Shadow getting her treat, and her throwing and tossing it around the house and playing with it like a “cat”. She would say to her “here kitty, kitty!” Kristi was worried that calling her “kitty” would confuse her but Shadow was smart and knew that she had a bark and not a meow. Most of the time Theresa would call her “my dog my dog” but during treat times, she was a “kitty.”

The love and happiness you gave everyone will never be forgotten. You have been my favorite hello and my hardest goodbye. Until we see each other again, sleep in peace my friend!
