Obituary of "Jasmin" Healea

Please share a memory of "Jasmin" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lynzee Healea, Eric Healea, and Chris Tougas regret to announce the passing of their beloved family member, “Jasmin.”  Jasmin passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Monday, May 6, 2019.

Jasmin was the best friend that Lynzee could ever ask for.  When her “mommy” Lynzee was younger, Jasmin was always there for her; whether it was during a lightning storm or a thunderstorm she was there! She was there to give all her love and comfort when Lynzee’s mom and grandma passed away, as well as during many other times in her life. Jasmin and Lynzee were very close and when Lynzee went to go live in another house, Lynzee’s dad would call her up and tell her that Jasmin needed one of her shirts so that she could sleep with it. The day that Lynzee came home was the best ever because Jasmin was the very first one to greet her when she walked in the door.

Jasmin was a trooper and put up with her mommy when she would dress her up and even paint her fingernails.  She loved to run around and play with tennis balls (you could throw them but she didn’t really bring them back).  At times, she was also a couch potato and other times she was just so excited she just didn’t know what to do with herself!  She was known on the south side of town as “that dog” because anytime Lynzee’s dad, Eric, would go to the store, she would sit in the chair with her water cup and wait for him to come back, she truly was a loyal dog.  Unfortunately, from all the running at the park and chilling at the store, Jasmin had a heart problem which caused her heart to be bigger than it should have been.  Being on numerous medications, having to take them throughout the day, did take a toll on Jasmin, but she was still a trooper and wasn’t going to let anything get her down.  Although she wanted to keep fighting, the family decided that the best thing for her was to go over the Rainbow Bridge.  She was really having a hard time breathing and she didn’t quite understand that it was ok to say goodbye.  She was such a strong girl, she just wanted to keep pushing but they knew she was hurting.

Although she is gone now, the family knows that she is feeling better and running around in a better place.  She is missed but loved with all their hearts and will never be forgotten.  Their love for her will last “furever!”
