Obituary of Sgt. Max
Sgt Max joined The Marine Corps League Detachment 757, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in November, 2014 and sadly passed away on April 19, 2019.
Max was proud to be a Marine, and loved to wear his uniform. He was the League’s mascot and enjoyed every minute of it! During his time with the League, he loved to participate in the London Bridge Days Parade, Military Moms golf tournament, Toys for Tots, Special Olympics, and other events throughout the community.
On February 27, 2018, Max was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, along with a medal of Good Conduct for being such a good boy.
Max was somewhat of a hardcore Marine as he was kicked out and banned from a couple of boarding facilities in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Sgt. Max, however, loved being around people and people loved being around Max. Thank goodness for Ron and Patty at Pets in Paradise who took Max in, he did very well.
A special Service will be held in Max’s honor at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. The public is invited and encouraged to be a part of this beautiful ceremony for such a beautiful pup. Max will be missed by all who knew him and all who shared their lives with him!
Semper Fi, Max…..Always faithful!
