Lloyd H. Carpenter Sr. February 3, 1926 - April 20, 2014 Lloyd H. Carpenter Sr., 88 of Lake Havasu City, Arizona died April 20, 2014. He was born February 3, 1926 in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was preceded in death by the love of his life of over 50 years, Peg Carpenter whom he has missed terribly for the last 10 years. He is survived by his daughter Jean Kobata (Stacey) of Lake Havasu, son Lloyd Carpenter Jr., of Westminster, CA., granddaughter Amy and 3 great grandchildren, Haylee, Alyssa and Joseph, as well as 2 sisters, Mable Crumbley, Phyllis McDowell and an abundance of nieces and nephews in Ohio and California. Lloyd was an Army Veteran who served our country in World War II. He retired after many years working for the Westminster School District in California, and loved being around children. Lloyd was a strong and lasting impact on all who met him and he will be dearly missed. At Lloyd's request, there will be no services, however a viewing will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in Lake Havasu. Another Visitation will be held at Westminster Memorial Park Memorial Friday, April 25, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Lloyd's family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Lake Havasu Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Lloyd's family at www.lietzfrazefuneral home.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory
