Our deepest sympathy and condolences to The Archie Family for your loss. Since today, March 31, 2019, is the Celebration of Life for Joe, it is fitting to remember some of the good times spent with such a strong, warm, kind, “giant of a man” - Joe Archie. We will always cherish and be grateful of the time Joe and DeeDee came to visit us in Tennesse. Happy hour was just that - full of great stories and laughter. But one of the fondest memories is spending the days with Joe teaching Bret and I how to fence “the right way.” So now every time I look at my pasture fences (straight and done correctly) I think of Joe and smile. We were deeply saddened to learn of Joe’s illness and then passing. (Life is so short). Our hearts are heavy at the thought of Joe no longer being here. However, we feel honored and blessed to have spent that time with Joe and DeeDee. Our prayers are with the whole family. RIP Joe Archie.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Joe’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can’t change anything and can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort calm your hearts and help you heal. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. Joe,
I'm not sure where to begin, we have been neighbors and friends for over 30 years. We always considered each other as family more then friends. You were always some one that any of us could count on for any reason, to ride with, play in the desert with, to give advice to and most of all just to listen to what we all had to say. We rode our Harleys side by side for thousands of miles. There will never be another riding partner like you. When we started the Friends of the Fair Rodeo Committee I didn't know one thing about the rodeo. In the 15+ years together on it you taught me more about horses, buckles and bulls (and a lot of bullshit too), than I could imagine.
I miss you Joe, my friend and most of all my Brother...God needed another cowboy in heaven more than we did on earth, rest in peace Joe...We love and miss you...

Joe, It was an honor to first serve with you at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Academy (73-1). You served with TPD, I served with PCSO. I next served with you when you were with LHCPD and I as a State Liquor Control Agent. Next, you ran for sheriff in Mohave and I in Coconino at the same time.
I am so sorry buddy! You were as strong as a bull and I loved serving with you. You will be missed! God Bless You and Your Family. You were too young my friend!
He will be a Great Soldier Lord! RIP Brother

What great memories we had with Joe!!! Even though he rode ahead of us he won’t be forgotten! Laughing at so many camp fires in Glamis and Shea road, listening to his stories about growing up on the ranch and his cowboy logic are priceless! We’ve had Easter boating on the lake we’ve had Harley rides with Santa Claus together and so many just good times. He lived his life to the fullest and was an amazing guy. We were blessed to be his friend! Heaven sure did get another good one! Until we meet again JOE ARCHIE you will be sorely missed!!! Our deepest heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to all of his family! Big hugs!
