I write this condolence in honor of Joann Van Bynen - who was married to my mother's cousin Larry. It seems that you can't think about one - without the other. Therefore, it's not a surprise that the Lord made sure to bring them together in spirit - as they were in life. It is however, a shame to hear of Joann's sudden passing. I spoke with Joann on the phone not too long ago (while she was still living at the ranch) and we had such a nice conversation - filled with laughs. Even her voice alone, makes you want to hug her! I remember visiting Joann and Larry at the ranch a few years ago and we enjoyed some quality (and emotional) family time. Larry's father and my grandfather were twin brother's - so I delivered a beautifully restored photo of the twins to the ranch for Larry & Joann to enjoy. We all had such a great time, including it being the very first time I ever held and shot a gun! Joann told me that shooting a gun is nothing new when you live on a ranch and interestingly enough, I became quite comfortable after firing off a couple of rounds! I will always remember my special visit to the ranch and feel blessed to have enjoyed the warm company of Joann - who truly was a sweetheart. When I think of Joann now, I also think about the beautiful sunset that I witnessed when leaving the ranch. I will put Joann in a special place in my heart and think of her together with Larry in Heaven - hopefully they will run into my mother up there and have some good laughs!? I also give special love and hugs to my "Cuzz" Todd and his beautiful wife Lisa as well. Todd took wonderful care of his mom for many years and I hope that one day we will all see each other again, as we did on the ranch.

My condolence to the family & friends of Joann Van Bynen. It is obvious from the kind words that she will be fondly remembered. As you cherish the many memories, reflect on the time when sickness & death will be conditions of the past! (Revelation 21:3,4; 1Corinthians 15: 26) This is a promise made by our loving God Jehovah & Jesus Christ guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19) May God’s word, the thoughts & prayers of others, & the many fond memories of Mrs. Van Bynen comfort you each day, as we await the fulfillment of His promises! (Joshua 23:14)
