Obituary of Joseph Andrew Blaha

Mr. Joseph Andrew Blaha Jr., "Big Joe" born on September 4, 1948 in Wakefield, Michigan, to the late Lavonne Blaha and the late Joseph Blaha, Sr, passed away at age 70 on February 26, 2019 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Joe graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in 1967. Joe served in the Army from 1968 to 1988 and he also worked as a truck driver until he retired in 2008. Joe married his sweetheart Rebecca (Reid) April 18, 1970 and enjoyed nearly 49 years of marriage with her.

He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Blaha in 1993.

Joe is survived by his sons, Chris Burnett (Cynthia) of Rochester, NY and Greg Blaha (Rilda) of Ozark, AL; daughters, Jodi Lee (Craig) of Kingman, AZ and Sandy Oliver (James) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister, Marie Gunney (Julian) of Murphreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Hillaree Hendrickson (Edd), Justin Blaha, Danni Lee, Avery Lee, Patrick Gajdos, Shane Oliver, and Katelynn Seltzer; and great-grandchild, Aubree Hendrickson. He also leaves behind his "dumb" dogs, Buddy and Pickles.

He had a passion for his family, Nascar (especially Tony Stewart), supporting KHS softball, and seven & sevens, . He always had a joke to tell and brightened any room he entered. He was so very loved and will be missed every single day.
