James (Jim) Michael Denny
December 6, 1940 – January 15, 2019
James (Jim) Michael Denny, 78, passed away January 15, 2019 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Jim was born on December 6, 1940 to Joseph and Mary Denny in Buffalo, New York. Jim was raised in Napoleon, Ohio. He attended St. Augustine’s Grade School and Napoleon High School, where he graduated in 1958 at the age of 17. He moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1958 to attend DeVry Tech and then De Paul University part time. Jim worked for a local trucking company for several years.
Jim married his first wife, Claudia, and they had 3 children, Mark, Lisa and Jim. He later moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona where he met Pam, the love of his life and they married in 1980. They were to together for 33 wonderful years until her passing in 2013.
Jim had several jobs including bartending, maintenance, property manager with Pam, and furniture assembly. He also spent 5 years at McCulloch Corporation. He finished his working career at Walmart. After 14 years he retired due to medical reasons.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Pam, mother; Mary, children; Mark and Lisa Marie, sister; Mary Jo, brothers; Pat and Steve, his two furry kids; Bubba and Bella.
Jim is survived by his son; Jim, grandchildren; Joshua, Andrew and Emma, brother; Dick, many nieces and nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
Jim will be missed by his many friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Havasu Animal Shelter.
