Obituary of Richard Stidham

In loving memory, Richard "Rip" Frederick Stidham, beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City on December 14, 2012 at the age of 77. Rip was born on June 22, 1935 in orange California to Herbert and Christine Stidham. Following high school, Rip proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Army. After returning home, he found a career in the aerospace industry at Northrup. Rip retired after 40 years of service. He then took on a hobby job, parking attendant at Angels Stadium, a job he loved. In 1994 Rip and his significant other, Sunny retired to Lake Havasu City. He was a devoted Eagles and VFW member for 20 years Rip is survived by his loving daughter and caregiver, Valerie Billman, daughterTeshaSohet,4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews, brothers William Stidham and Charles StidhamJr., and sisters Betty Poirier, Peggy Bell and Janet Jones.He was preceded in death by his parents William Sr. and ChristineStidham and 2 younger brothers.
