Obituary of Leonard Alfred Bleser
Heaven gained another angel when Len Bleser of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away Monday.
He was born October 8, 1928 in Evanston, IL to Peter and Catherine Bleser. His family later moved to Elkhorn, WI where he attended school and was graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1946. He married Yvonne Dickinson on June 18, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edgerton, WI.
Len was a licensed Wisconsin real estate broker and owned a custom kitchen and bath cabinet company in Janesville until retirement in 1994. He and Yvonne spent winters in LHC and summers at Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin. They enjoyed family time, entertaining, traveling abroad and playing golf together.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, St. Joseph's in Edgerton WI, the Elks Club, and former member of the London Bridge Golf Club, Towne Country Golf Club and the Southern Wisconson Builders Association.
Len is survived by his wife Yvonne, his daughters Mary (Jay) Furman, Beloit WI, Susan (Eloy) Rodriguez, Austin, Texas, Italian daughter Caterina (Aldo Dai Zovi) Thiella, Schio, Italy, grandchildren Jillian (Matt) Hansen, Killeen TX, Katy (Israel) Robles, Beloit, WI, Victor Rodriguez, Platteville, WI, and Victoria Rodriguez, Pflugerville, TX, Irene, Serena, Alessandro, Diana Dai Zovi, Schio, Italy, eight great-grandchildren, brothers Frank (Gloria) Bleser and Bob (Louise) Bleser, sister Marion (Edward) Bass Elkhorn, WI, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Edward Bleser, brother-in-law Thomas Dickinson, and sister-in-law Suzanne Straus.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
