Obituary of Jo Ann Saculla
Heaven must have been a little too routine and God figured he needed to do something. So he looked around, got a smile on his face and said, "Ok, Jo." On June 6, 2018, Jo Ann answered and passed away at her residence. Jo Ann was born in Racine, Wisconsin to Joseph and Mary Saculla on June 7, 1940. She grew up in Racine, attended Sacred Heart School, St. Catherine's High School and Carthage College receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude. She also attended Marquette Univerity, becoming a registered medical technician. Jo Ann also sold real estate in Racine before moving to Lake Havasu City. Jo Ann worked at Havasu Regional Hospital specializing in Blood Bank, from where she retired. Wherever Jo Ann lived or worked, she was the highlight of so many people's lives. For she was always the one to be a friend, a shoulder, an advisor, was always a good laugh, and just fun to be around. She had a knack of telling you how things are in such a nice way. She loved to dance, enjoyed a variety of music and always a good joke. Loved to play keno and was after her pursued jackpot to be won on June 7.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her mom, dad and her brother Frank. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Speca (Angelo) and Angeline Stafford (Eugene) and many loving family and friends, especially best friend forever, Debbie Froeschke.
A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2019 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Following will be a Celebration of Life at Grace Episcopal Church on Bunker Drive, with a final "Bye Dolly" send off.
