My thoughts and prayers are with Donna and Caitlin, family and friends. A "few" years ago a "quite" Irish man knocked on their door, uninvited, and that door remained open with kindness, fun and warmth . That warmth and openness both Donna and Steve gave me, remains in me and will forever. To both of of you I say, thank you for the memories.

I grew up with Steve here in Michigan. We were all part of a group of boys who went to school and played together. As we grew older we all went our separate ways, but there always seemed to be a cohesion among us. The news of Steve's passing passed like a bullet through our little group. Shock and disbelief turned quickly to a feeling that there had been "a disturbance in The Force", to use a science-fiction metaphor. That Force will never be quite the same.

My prayers are with all Family Friends and Co-Workers. When our world was blessed to have such a wonderful man. He will be truly missed every day ahead of us. I was lucky to be his Sister-in-law. I remember the first times I met him my thought was "what a very interesting man. I enjoyed talking to him and smoking a cigar with him and my husband AJ. I enjoyed walking around your yard at your home. His landscaping gave me ideas for my own yard in Glendale, AZ. He had a beautiful smile. He smiled with his eyes, I think :).
I am reading my Bible app. looking for one I can send to Steve and this one I like.
Ezekiel 3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.
AMEN.
