I still think of Carrie! I met her in this one traffic light town in 1986 as co teachers at Smoketree Elementary School. She asked me if I had relatives in Indiana. Turned out that she did an internship with one of my aunts up there! Always had a connection from that day on. She was great. Tomorrow is Rob’s birthday… and f course I thought of all of you. Sending sympathy to Carrie's family and so sorry for their loss. I live in Jackson, Wisconsin and I am her mother's first cousin who was born and raIsed in Gary, indiana. Saw Carrie many times as an infant, toddler, and was at her wedding which was so much fun. Love to all. Loved her mother (Greta) very much.

It's hard to believe how many beautiful people I lost this year and I just read this. It seems I have known Carrie my entire life. Both my girls went to Nautilus and she was their teacher. She always had a smile and good things to say about everyone. Heaven is brighter with this Angel there. Love you forever.

So sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother & friend. It is obvious from the kind words that Mrs. Scheidt will be sadly missed yet, fondly remembered. As you cherish the many memories of Carrie, reflect on the time when sickness & death will be conditions of the past!
