Obituary of James Edward Swenson

James Edward Swenson “Jim”, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away at the age of 84 on November 16, 2018. He was born in Brewster, Minnesota on May 8, 1934.

Jim was raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He moved to California and worked in the oil industry. He resided in California until he retired and moved to Lake Havasu. He married his wife Shirley on December 31, 1983. He enjoyed bowling, sports, cooking and loved animals. Jim was a man of deep faith and very honest. He became very interested in politics over the past two years. He loved his children, step-children and his wife very much.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; Sylvester and Alberta Swenson and his brother.

He is survived by his loving wife; Shirley Swenson, sons; David (Lori), John (Cheryl) and Matthew Swenson, daughter; April (Mark) Lestico, three grandchildren; Sierra, Gavin and Christian, and seven great-grandchildren.
