surrounded by people who loved him. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Irving & Margaret

Rasmussen on July 26, 1943 he grew up in Minnesota. He is survived by is his wife of 54 years

had dreams of becoming an architect while attending college. Although he never graduated he

did design and build three homes. His college aspirations were put on hold when his father

convinced Bob and his wife Geri to trailblaze to the middle of the desert, leaving all that snow

behind and open a local community bank The State Bank in Lake Havasu City. During his time

in Lake Havasu City he helped found the first London Bridge Rotary Club, the Chamber of

Commerce, Partnership of Economic Development and Community Fund later changed to

United Way. After selling the bank he and Geri had several different ventures ranging from an

art gallery, to consulting business and then back into the Banking industry with Mohave State

Bank. Beyond his banking years Bob was avid artist creating many different wood sculptures

and designs. A few that he even turned into bronzes. He loved being dragged all over the

world by his wife, working in the yard on landscaping and spending time with family and friends.

People that knew him the best describe his as kind, unique and a patient gentleman.
