Obituary of "Gian Carlo" Innocenti

In memory of our sweet, precious boy GianCarlo, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge July 15th, 2018. 

The moment you entered our lives we knew how blessed we were.  Your bright, beautiful blue eyes and very vocal, wonderful Siamese personality would always put a smile on our face.  You would always greet us at the door and were always top cat in the household.   You shared the household with 4 other kitties that you would, on occasion, hit on the head with your paw because you always had to have all of the attention.   You were always the most spoiled, getting anything your little kitty heart desired.  Anything for you our Gian boy! 

Our many trips to Flagstaff together and seeing how much you enjoyed walking around in the grass always brought a smile to our face.  Mommy would always say "don't eat the grass Gian Gian.  Are you a little goat?"  And then you would head over to the flower bed and try to hide in the flowers.  You have brought us so much joy and happiness over the years, from your curiousness with plastic bags always having to be the first to see what is inside,  to "spinning it around" and laying your head on my pillow at night with your face on my cheek as we would always fall to sleep together.  I will never forget the way you would paw at my face and bite my nose and chin to get me up in the morning,  as your way of saying "Feed me Mom". What I wouldn't give now to have you paw and bite at my face just one more time. 

We always loved how you would look up at us for "kissy head" and how you loved your toes massaged, as we would always refer to it as "kitty toes".  There are so many memories you have given to us that will be cherished in our hearts forever.  Our hearts are filled with sadness and tears knowing you are no longer with us.  The day we had to say goodbye we did so for you, our precious boy, and for your comfort.  We loved you so very much that the decision we made was to not have you suffer in any way.  Our decision was truly a decision we had to make for the love and compassion we had for you.  It certainly was not a decision for us, as we would have you here forever if we could.  While our hearts are broken and tears fall down our face, the house is so quiet without you there.  There is a definite silence and change in the household with your absence.  The only peace that we have is knowing you will be forever with us in our hearts, looking down on us every day of our lives. 

We love you so very much our sweet boy Gian, always in our hearts and never to be forgotten.
