Obituary of Basil Charles Emanuele

Basil C. Emanuele "Manny" passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 4, 2018. He was born to Antonio and Mary Emanuele in Ashtabula, Ohio on March 24, 1934. He lived in Ashtabula until he married his soulmate, Jean Madeline Vacca, on November 25, 1954. They were blessed with almost 64 years together. They lived in Buena Park, California for 42 years. Manny worked as a production control manager for Lockheed Martin for 25 years. In his spare time, he coached the Little League Majors and Seniors. He then became a real estate agent until he retired to Lake Havasu City in 1997. After moving to Lake Havasu, he continued his love for baseball and joined the Havasu Senior Softball League. He played on 6 different teams that won the championship. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and boating. Manny is preceded in death by his parents; Antonio and Mary Emanuele and sister Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife; Jean M. Emanuele, son; Anthony C. Emanuele and daughter; Julie (Gary) Wrigley. A Celebration of Life will be held at the residence on August 19th between 1-4pm.
