Born to Sam and Lindy Chiaramonte in Gallup, NM, she was the oldest of four girls. The family relocated with the railroad to Winslow, AZ. in the 40’s where Sam and Lindy raised their daughters. Sally was involved in the Catholic Church and enjoyed many activities, she even found a desire to cook at a young age.

After graduating high school, she attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ for her business degree. Shortly after, she had four children and incited the love of God in all their hearts.

She met the love of her life, Smokey Meyers, and married him in 1976. They resided in Lancaster, CA where they both worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation at Edward’s Airforce Base. Sally worked as the Director of Human Resources for 20 years. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling the world, golfing and dancing.

After retirement, Smokey and Sally moved to Lake Havasu City. Through their variety of activities, they bonded with their neighbors who became lifelong friends. She invested her time and involvement in the local Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Lake. She served as a bookkeeper and valued the importance of educating the children of the Church. Sally valued her faith and encouraged her family to show and share the love of God.
