Obituary of Craig Earl Patterson
Craig E. Patterson, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on June 30, 2018 at the age of
76.
Craig was born on August 15, 1941 in Logan, Ohio to William and Grace Patterson. He served
in the Army National Guard for 21 years, while also working at Diamond Power / Babcock
Wilcox as a Supervisor.
Craig married his beloved wife, Terry Sue McCray July of 1986 on the golf course in Hide Away
Hills, OH.
Craig's adventure through life was filled with happy times and wonderful people. Craig loved
golfing, camping and traveling. He enjoyed collecting and supporting the arts and was
involved in promoting and critiquing Terry's works. His hobbies included photography,
collecting coins and steins. Every fall, Craig would be glued to the TV shouting GO BUCKS, as
he watched his favorite team. Craig loved the gardens and pond of his HAH home, but was in
awe of the beauty of Arizona. Every morning would start with "What a beautiful day" as he
sat outside with his coffee and dogs, watching the sun rise over the mountains.
Craig was a member of the Moose. He was the President Hide Away Hills Men's Golf League.
He was also a Little League coach in Logan, OH.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents William and Grace Patterson and his siblings Bill
Patterson and Marylin McWilliams.
Craig is survived by his wife Terry McCray and his daughters Ginny (Kevin) Blyth, Stacie (Nick)
Vecchiarelli, Leah (Brian) Flanagan and grandchildren Aydin, Ethan, Emma, Nicolas, Dalton
and Chelsey.
No one was a stranger to Craig. He was a loving man who was loyal and kind to those he met.
He would always give a helping hand and was happy to sit and talk while having a beer or
two. He always enjoyed the stories of his friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
