I only learned of my cousin's passing in the last week. Without our mothers, we are apparently not very good about keeping in touch with each other. My memories of Wayne and his siblings were as a second family to me growing up. His mom (eldest of 9) and my mom (youngest of 9) were best friends, and we spent a lot of time at the Foth house. Even though I was younger, and probably obnoxious, Wayne never had a cross word for me. I remember once, while crying on his front step, he told me that cats don't like you if you cry. I believed that until probably 10 years ago or so. Never once thought to question anything he told me. My most recent, and very wonderful memory was when my husband and daughters and I were vacationing on the Olympic Peninsula. Wayne and Robyn had us over to their house, took my daughters out to see the quail house, took us blackberry picking until we could eat no more, and then prepared us a multi-course fresh-caught salmon dinner that we managed to devour in spite of all the blackberries. If there is a forever after, I hope to go out on your boat with you. Love you, Wayne! Debbie and family
