Obituary of Teresa Kaye Walters

Teresa Kaye Walters, age 60, of Deadwood, SD passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on May 14, 2018 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Terry was born March 16, 1958 in Madison, SD to Richard and Virginia Seitz.

Terry lived most of her life in Madison, SD working for First Bank & Trust and then later on Weber Abstract Company as well as Dakota International Services.

In most recent years Terry and her husband Lou decided to live a more nomadic lifestyle by splitting their time between Deadwood, SD and Lake Havasu City, AZ. While in Deadwood during the summer months Terry enjoyed talking to and entertaining guests at Steel Wheel Campground where she worked during the time she spent there. During the winter months that were spent in Lake Havasu City, AZ she enjoyed spending time with family and friends while enjoying her dream job of being a Professional Motorcycle Test Rider for D&D Easyrider Inc.

Terry enjoyed life to the fullest and was most proud of her grandson Ethan, whom meant more than anything to her, and spending time with him while in Deadwood. While in Lake Havasu her great-niece, Adelynn was so blessed to have Terry's undivided attention. She also enjoyed creating wonderful stained glass projects and spending time with family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Seitz, as well as her grandparents Henry & Lois Lohram and Elmer & Thelma Seitz, all of Madison.

She is survived by her husband, Lou Walters; son, Mark Bidwell; grandson, Ethan Greenwald; father, Richard Seitz; step-father, Gene Casanove; sister, Lori Seitz; brothers Scott (Tammy) Seitz and Todd (Kristine) Seitz; brother in-laws Jim, Tim (Vicky) and Dan (Sandy) Walters; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled and announces at a later date.
