Obituary of "Fiona" Jonker
“Fiona” Jonker passed away and crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on December 24, 2017. Fiona was rescued from the Humane Society 7 years ago at the age of 3, when her owner passed away suddenly. The first couple of days were a bit shaky as she was getting used to her surroundings and her other furry sisters and brother. It only took about a week and she was definitely fitting into the crazy family.
Fiona quickly became one of mom’s favorites. Her mom had always wanted a Siamese kitty. She slept right next to her mom and even on mom’s pillow at night and purred so loud ALL the time. She definitely was a happy little girl. She loved to curl up in the dirty clothes hamper and hide. She even liked to hide in the dryer when the door was left open. She had the Siamese cross eyed trait, which gave her even more personality, as you never knew where she was looking and when approaching her, if she did not see you, she would let out a loud meow and jump in the air.
“Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray this cushy life to keep,
I pray for toys that look like mice,
And sofa cushions, soft and nice.
I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,
And someone nice to scratch my back,
For windowsills all warm and bright,
For shadows to explore at night.
I pray I’ll always stay real cool
And keep the secret feline rule
To NEVER tell a human that
The world is really ruled by CATS!”
Her family misses her deeply and will love her “furever!”
