Obituary of Patricia Irene Anthony

Patricia (Pat) Irene Anthony passed away on May 6, 2018 at 5:47 am. She is survived by her husband of 37 years; Elwood Anthony, her son; Vern Stophilbeen of Fort Worth, Texas, her daughters; Paten Hicks of Yelm, Washington and Kym Stophilbeen of Puyallup, Washington, her sister; Jonnie Wilson of Salem, Oregon and brother; Daniel Williams of Eugene, Oregon. She also had 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Pat, at the age of 35 made a decision to go back to school to get her GED because she had things she wanted to accomplish. She has had several professional licenses, including real estate and a CDL. Pat always painted, mostly with acrylic paint and drew beautiful pictures with pencil. She decided she wanted a degree in interior design and began going to school at the Art Institute of Seattle where she received her degree. She was a wonderful caring lady with an infectious laugh that was always willing to help anyone. She volunteered at several functions in Lake Havasu, including being president of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the Elks. She dedicated her life to God and brought many souls to the altar. Her favorite saying was "sowing seeds in the name of the Lord". She now has been called home and will be in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Christian Church on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patte's honor to a charity of your choice.
