Billy Joe Kerbow passed away December 30, 2012 at his residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 85. He was born on February 19, 1927 in Brice, Texas. After High School he joined the Merchant Marines and served as a cook and baker for 4 years. He was then drafted into the U.S. Army and served for 4 years. He attended college and earned his masters degree from Pepperdine University and became an exceptional Elementary School Teacher in California. During his long teaching career he was revered and highly respected by his students and colleagues. After retirement he and his wife moved to Arizona. Billy is survived by his loving wife; Maria, sister; Margaret Neyland, daughters; Sharon Kerbow, Shirley Burr, Diana Laehle, sons; Daniel Kerbow and Edward Brown, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will forever be in all of our hearts. In his memory, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu, 365 Lake Havasu Ave S, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.
