I just recently heard about Scott’s passing. I met Scott back in 1986 when we were both in the hotel business. We remained friends for many years and had some great times together. Scott was a lot of fun and had a great sense of humor. My condolences to the family…Paula I met you around 1990. RIP Scott buddy!

Scott was my very first boss when I turned 14. In fact, he was my only boss until his passing. I worked for him for almost 4 years. I saw him nearly everyday. I knew him better than almost anybody. He was never a boss to me, but a parent figure. His death hit me extremely hard, and I could barely function the first few days. Scott did so much for me & went out of his way to. Anytime I was fundraising, Scott was my biggest supporter. Scott sponsored me for everything & anything. As the years went on, we got closer & I began to appreciate him more than any other elder I had. As far as helping me, he would give me rides to work every Sunday, feed me day in day out, teach me about sports, cars, schooling, you name it. People would always ask Scott if I was his daughter and he wouldn’t always laugh and say “I wish” and tell them how smart I was and how far I was going to go. Scott knee a lot about me, I never took that for granted. When I finally got my license, he would tell me I could have his Audi, his sense of humor was so cheesy. I think I’m writing this as closure for myself because I still think about him everyday. I took my job for granted & never realized I how lucky I truly was. When Scott hires on my boyfriend he helped him get his food handlers card so he could start right away. He was such a caring, compassionate & giving person. I can’t remember one time he said no to anyone fundraiser or Girl Scout cookies. Tag a longs were his favorite, just saying. Every Sunday it was just me, him, and my boyfriend. He would go to smiths and bring us chocolate milk, & donuts. Other days I would buy us Cinnabon. This is just one example of how he was seriously the coolest boss ever. When Scott would bowl on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s my boyfriend and I would get off work & get him a double double from in n out & drive him home safely. He always said “I love you daisy” with the stupidest cheesiest smile on his face and I would say “I love you too Scott!” As the months went on, I watched him and my boyfriend build such a strong bond. They would talk everything sports. Mostly basketball & football. Scott loved it. And so did my boyfriend. As for my family, my little brother loved him. Scott would always make him a meal, but only if he helped him deliver food. Scott loved kids, but was too busy giving, he never had any. He was such a blessing in my life and my long days so much better. As I’m writing this I’m in tears because we lost such a beautiful soul. The only thing I regret is not Telling him how much a appreciated him & how much we both loved him. I would do anything to give him one last hug. I could seriously write a book about all the fun times we had, if you made it this far, bless you. I know he is in the best place right now. Rest easy Scott David Williams, you were one of the biggest influences in my life. I know you’re watching over me, please keep me safe. We all love you and miss you dearly. I promise you will never be forgotten.

We were so sad the day we heard of Scott’s passing! We saw him every Thursday at the bowling alley as he prepared our lunch before we bowled with the Elks group. Over the last 3 years we became good friends, Vince Gouthro golfed with him every chance Scott could get away. We even ate at the Chicago Grill when we were over at the mall. (Great food and Scott took pride in the food he served his customers) We miss his smiling face on Thursday’s
RIP Scott you are truly missed by many.
Our condolences to the family.
