Obituary of Roy Casimir Brindamour

Roy C. Brindamour crossed over to be with our heavenly father on 4-3-18. Roy was born 5-19-1929 to Ruby (McCoitt) and Stanley Brindamour of Melvindale, MI. Schooling was completed through St.Mary's, Patchin Elem. And Plymouth intermediate of Michigan. At the age of Eight Roy discovered the love of singing in the church choir which he continued for many years as a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. Roy was drafted to the Army in 1951 during the Korean war where is position was Military Police. His career was with Rex-Transportation in Detroit, MI as a cement hauler. He retired and moved to Lake Havasu City in spring of 1986. Roy met his longtime companion Fern Miller after moving to LHC and were together 28 Years. Roy and Fern enjoyed many activities around Havasu golfing and especially Karaoke. He was dubbed the Karaoke King everyone expressed how much they loved Roy's singing from Michigan to Arizona. Roy was a member at Elks Lodge, American Legion and Eagles. He was preceded in death by His son Mark Brindamour in 2001, step daughter Brenda Bradley in 2014 and brother Jean Brindamour 2005. He is survived by his son Roy Brindamour, his two daughters Carrie Farnstrom (Dan)and Mitzi MacDonald (Brian) also survived by two step children Paul Bradley and Mike Bradley. He is also survived by two sisters Ethel Johnson, Aurelie James and one brother Ray Aber. Nine grandchildren Brandy McNamara, Tiffiny Starsinich, Christopher and Krystle Ecker, Garret, Chloe and Brison MacDonald, Derek and Alyssa Farnstrom, and several great grandchildren. He will be missed immensely by family and friends for his way of making people smile and laugh with his sense of humor, always an upbeat person who loved a great conversation and song.
